Today is Women's Day.
Woke up around 8am and started scrolling on my phone. Spent the whole morning watching *High Kick* and videos about the US-Iraq war. Kept at it until past 11am, and the guilt hit hard. My head was dizzy and heavy, feeling utterly empty and bored.
Can't keep being this useless.
Booked a Muay Thai class for 2pm. Haven't exercised in a month—my body feels completely stagnant, no energy flowing, stiff as a board. From Chinese New Year till now, I've been binge eating, staying up until 2 or 3am, hormones all over the place, breakouts on my face, and a cold that just won't go away.
Muay Thai at 2, then physio with the rehab therapist at 4.
By 5pm, I felt alive again. Even my breathing was smooth.
I used to feel like my breath only reached my shoulders, couldn't sink deeper. The therapist said the issue wasn't my chest but my stomach and abdomen—those muscles were too tight, blocking the breath from going down. After she worked on loosening them, the difference was obvious.
In the evening, I brought my Mac to a café. Got some work done—only then did the day feel like it wasn't wasted.
